Carl Jung – Letters Volume 1

To Count Hermann Keyserling

Dear Count, 10 December 1945

I was glad to hear through Mr. X. how you are.

It is wonderful how you have come through this catastrophe.

Let us hope conditions will gradually improve.

Here in Switzerland we are still rationed, but can’t complain about anything since we were miraculously spared the Nazi madness.

I see from numerous examples that the Germans still have no conception of the mood of the world against Germany.

The catastrophe overshadows the whole world.

The seed of evil is sprouting everywhere.

With best greetings and wishes,

Yours sincerely,

C.G. Jung ~Carl Jung, Letters Vol. 1, Page 401.
