In Psychological Types, Jung cited Barlach’s The Dead Day

February 26 was the inaugural meeting of the Psychological Club.
Jung appears also to have held a reading of the first act of Ernst Barlach’s (1870-1938) play The Dead Day (Der Tote Tag) [Berlin: Paul Cassirer, 1912]).
In Psychological Types, Jung cited Barlach’s The Dead Day as an example of the literary use of the contents of the unconscious (CW 6, § 426n.).
Barlach illustrated his play with twenty-seven lithographs. Jung owned a copy of the illustrated Cassirer edition. ~The Black Books, Vol. VI, Page 232, fn 128
