Carl Jung a victim of sexual assault as a boy.

The Freud/Jung Letters

My veneration for you [Freud] has something of the character of a ‘religious’ crush.
Though it does not really bother me, I still feel it is disgusting and ridiculous because of its undeniable erotic undertone.
This abominable feeling comes from the fact that as a boy I was the victim of a sexual assault by a man I once worshipped.” ~Carl Jung, Freud/Jung Letters, Page 95.
He [Jung] told me one day that when he was 18 years old one of the best friends of his family was also his best friend—a man of about forty to fifty.

He was very proud of this friendship and had the feeling that he had … in this man a fatherly friend with whom he could discuss everything until one day this fatherly friend tried a homosexual approach towards him.

He [Jung] was so disgusted and afraid that he immediately broke the relationship. . . . [H]e . . . explained to me, when Freud wanted to make him his son and his successor, he had the same feeling, “No, no, no, I don’t want to belong to anybody. I don’t want to be embraced.” ~Jolande Jacobi, interview by Gene Nameche.
