Visions : Notes of the seminar given in 1930-1934 (2 Volume Set) (Bollingen)
Descent seems to be very steep & dangerous.
The ascent is always laborious, yet it is a well-trodden path.
But the downward path is new.
Many have gone down, but they usually slipped, so it has a slippery surface; one finds pars of wrecked cars, trousers, shoes & skeletons, perhaps of people who gone to smash on that path.
This is the path of danger. ~Carl Jung, Visions Seminar, Page 94
